The Works - dog training Classes
PuppyWorks: $35/visit for 30 minutes
This is a puppy instructional and socialization class offered on a week-by-week basis. Classes focus on puppy socialization skills, crate and potty training, healthy eating, learning the "sit", bite inhibition and introduction to the leash.
The Works 101: $299/5 weeks for 1 hour classes
This is a five-week course held on consecutive Saturdays. It's for The Basics:
* Week 1 - Sit/Off and introduction to Target training
* Week 2 - Down/Leave It
* Week 3 - Stay/Come (Here)
* Week 4 - Heel / Leash work
* Week 5 - All 7 Basic Commands / Graduation
Owners receive a starter care package that includes: a slip lead, a treat pouch, laminated basic command chart and a few surprises!
the works 201: $250/4 weeks for 1 hour classes
Here is where we help you address Behavioral Issues often seen in young dogs. This follow-up class to The Works 101 offers a more in depth look at things like:
* Week 1 - Leash work and on leash commands
* Week 2 - Jumping / Barking
* Week 3 - Separation Anxiety
* Week 4 - Disobedience
Addressing concerns with social behaviors, cues and body language, mastering leash technique, meeting, greeting and recall, the tools available to help owners. It also looks at why our dogs may not be doing what we want. This is also a four-week course held on Saturdays.
Private Training Classes: $125 per 1-hour session
We are able to provide our dog owning families some one-on-one training with our Trainer, Kyle. She is available to hold private classes that last 1 hour in duration. They can be held at our dog daycare center, or they can be at your home. They can be for a single owner or a family that has kids that need to be involved in pet care and training.
Cancellations
Our training program cancellation policy is the same as with our dog daycare. We kindly ask that you provide a full 24-hour notice for cancellations. No shows are charged full price. Our trainers are showing up to help you and your pet, please respect their commitment and time.
Graduates and Dog Daycare
If your dog has recently graduated from 101 and/or 201 and you enroll in dog daycare for a minimum of 2 days a week attendance, you will receive a complimentary first day on the house!
